After Customer Purchase - Good to Know Charging &#x2013; The devices have about 50% battery charge out of the box. The devices must be put into the charger to be fully charged before use. &#xA0;It takes 2-3 hours to get to a full charge. &#xA0;Devices have overcharge protection. Earwax entering the unit&#x2019;s receiver (speaker) can distort the sound, or the customer may not hear any sounds. &#xA0;The best time to clean the hearing aids is in the morning because any earwax in the unit has hardened overnight and flakes out much easier. &#xA0;Each box comes with a small brush inside to clean the devices. &#xA0;Gravity is our friend when it comes to cleaning, so the customer will want to hold the unit with the ear dome facing the ground while brushing the ear dome.Troubleshooting Tip: If a customer has an issue with the device not working (i.e., can&#x2019;t hear, its distorted, no sound at all, or it&#x2019;s whistling (feedback), no volume or weak), it is usually just plugged up with earwax in the receiver (speaker). &#xA0;An easy fix is to remove the ear dome from the tip of the receiver and replace it with a new ear dome. Also, we recommend completely disconnecting the devices from the app if not using the smartphone to control the devices to help lengthen battery life. &#xA0;3. &#xA0; &#xA0;Feedback &#x2013; This is the whistling or buzzing the hearing aid can make. &#xA0;The cause could be that the hearing aid may not be in the customer&#x2019;s ear properly, they have the wrong ear dome on the receiver (speaker) (switch out to a larger or closed dome, no slots), the volume may be set too loud, or their ears could be impacted by earwax (need to clean their ears). For RIC hearing aid users, the microphone on the hearing aid is located on top of the ear, so the phone must be held higher up on the top of the ear so the sound from the phone can go into the microphones. &#xA0;
