RIC or Receiver-in-Canal hearing aid in which the receiver (speaker) is inserted inside the ear canal. The Receiver-in-canal style reduces transmission losses and improves overall speech clarity. The receiver has a removable soft silicone ear dome (different sizes inside the box) on the tip. The top of the device hooks on top of the ear, and the device rests comfortably behind the ear.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROGRAMS  –  Each Device has 4-preset Environmental Programs that the user can control on the device or through the myiHEAR app using a *smartphone (*except the Xplore model). The user changes the program based on different listening situations and environments to maximize comfort and hearing experience.

• Xplore   –  Enhanced Technology (DEVICE CONTROLLED ONLY  –  NO SMARTPHONE) Designed for users that do not have a smartphone. The user controls all environmental programs and volume changes on the device. Recommended for low to moderate-noise environments. 
• aXis – Advanced Technology (SMARTPHONE COMPATIBLE –  DEVICE CONTROLLED & APP-CONTROLLED) This device pairs smartphones and tablets via Bluetooth. Download the free iHEAR App to use the smartphone as a remote control to adjust the devices. Designed to be used with or without a smartphone. The user can also control all environmental programs and volume changes on the device without a smartphone. The aXis has advanced Directional Microphones technology to reduce background noise. Recommended for low to high background noise environments. 
• matriX  – Premium Technology (SMARTPHONE COMPATIBLE –  FULL AUDIO–STREAMING  –  DEVICE CONTROLLED & APP-CONTROLLED) This device pairs smartphones and tablets via Bluetooth. Download the free iHEAR App to use the smartphone as a remote control to adjust the devices. The user can also control all environmental programs and volume changes on the device without a smartphone. Designed to stream audio for phone calling and listening to music and podcasts. The matriX has Multi-Directional Microphones for enhanced speech clarity and maximum background noise reduction. Recommended for people who use cell phones to call and desire to listen to music or podcasts. Ideal for low to high background noise environments.
